As per Section 65A (1) of the Public Procurement (Amendment) Act 2016 the Agency do procure goods for resale to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Local Government Authorities (LGAs) and other Public Institutions directly from manufactures, dealersand service providers as guided by the Act. In so doing so the Agency has manage to lower cost of items procured directly from manufactures, dealers and service provider but more fundamentally the Agency has also manage to control the shipping and quality of items and therefore to insure its clients the availability of such items at all times with minimal possibility of stock out.

The same for the Agency which was seen its establishment by having a wide distribution retail network across the entire country strategically located within Tanzania mainland whereby each regional offices is at the centre of regional town that makes possible to offers its services.

The Agency has extended service hours for fuels from 07:30 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Sunday including national and public holiday. This initiative was designed to increased customer experience that saves the customer time and effort pertains to the facilitation of both goods and services offered by the Agency.
